May 15, 200395 Now we are talking. Wow. Aromas of licorice, flowers and crushed blackberries. Full-bodied and medium sweet, with lovely smooth, fine tannins and a long, sweet fruit finish. Greatest young Vintage Port of Smith Woodhouse I have ever tasted. Best after 2014. 4,000 cases made.

January 200390 Good full ruby. Expressive aromas of black fruits, violet and nuts. Sweet, fat and dense, with rich, slightly medicinal dark berry and shoe polish flavors. Builds nicely toward the back, finishing with smooth but firm tannins, a note of dark chocolate and a touch of youthful austerity.
