96 Pure, seamlessly ripe, lusciously juicy honeydew melon, grapefruit and white peach are stimulatingly impinged upon by fuzzy peach skin, smoky black tea, crustacean shell extract and crushed stone. The layering and undulating interactivity of fruity, herbal and mineral matter here is almost too subtle to describe. And the combination of textural richness and sheer ripeness with energetic animation and levity that characterize the best Austrian Rieslings and Grüner Veltliners of 2013 are present here in spades, accompanied by phenomenal sheer concentration and persistence.

92+ Pear, sweet lime and a hint of clove on the otherwise floral nose. Crisp, clean apricot fruit and refreshing acidity drive the palate. Precise and tightly focused, as if chiseled from stone. Finishes with lingering spices and minerals. This is the estate’s most successful Riesling from the 2013 vintage; it's also purer and more vibrant than the 2012.

91 Shows a rapierlike focus to the green apple, citrus and green peach flavors, filled with mineral and sea salt notes. Melon and ripe citrus details give the finish plenty of lift. A mouthwatering white. Drink now through 2020.
