92 Candied strawberry and marzipan notes are balanced by firm acidity and flavors of white peach, pastry dough and salted almond in this lacy, well-structured rosé. Disgorged September 2013. Drink now through 2020.

91 (60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir; 5.5 g/l dosage; disgorged in January, 2014): Light, bright orange. Minerally, sharply focused aromas of orange zest, redcurrant and white flowers, with a gingery quality and a hint of white pepper. Dry and stony on the palate, offering bitter citrus fruit, strawberry and rhubarb flavors and a touch of rose pastille. The floral quality gains power on the finish, which shows very good clarity and persistence.

90 A tense, wiry Champagne, the NV Brut Rosé impresses for its energy. Crushed flowers, rose petals and red berries open up nicely as the wine turns airy and weightless in the finish. Chartogne's Rosé is 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir, all from the Orizeaux lieu-dit in Merfy. Disgorged January 2014. Dosage is 5.5 grams per liter.
